Stocking Up on Greeting Cards
I love to stock up on greeting cards when I find them available for a good price. You never know when you will need a birthday card for someone or a card to congratulate someone, so it’s nice to have them on hand already. My card stash comes in especially handy during somber times. Usually a death in the family or something equally tragic happens on very short notice. My husband thinks it’s funny that I have a card for every occasion within reach at all times, but he has definitely benefited. When his boss had his first child, my husband had a card ready to take to work the very next day. He didn’t laugh so much after that, but I know it’s only good-natured ribbing. My daughter loves to use extra cards for her art projects, so taht’s another reason I don’t mind having a lot of cards around the house.
